About the Artist

I have a great love of people and how life can shape a person. I wish to share my heart with you.

In preparation, I graduated from Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, CA as an Art Major and obtained a Standard Designated Teaching Credential in Art, and taken advance painting classes, including recent studies in Italy at La Romita School of Art in Terni.

I realized that entering competitions, displaying work, participating in the Art in the Community Program, are all was to help get established. With this in mind, I have shown my work between 2015 and 2018 alone in over 50 art competitions. Often Winning awards;including three Best of Show awards. One of the competitions was showcased at the Haggin Museum in Stockton, CA.

You can understand how mixing with other artists and working toward certification in artist standing would be beneficial to anyone who loves what they do. With this in mind, I joined Sacramento Fine Arts, Northern California Arts, Blue Line Arts in Roseville, CA, Allianceof Women Artists, and National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society of America. I have served on the Board of Directors for Northern California Arts since 2015, and was President of the Board in 2017. I have elevated to the highest level of certification with Northern California Arts as Master Artist.

What are my plans?
I wish to broaden my base by reaching out to more national and international competitions, teach more children and community service classes, create videos, and create paintings in the style of figurative-realism from my heart. Would you care to journey with me?

Diana
